Redundant COoler Question

In reading through my just-received-docs, i notice in the front that it says you cant bring your own personal coolers on the ship, but on this board it seems that it isnt a problem..

Just want to make sure this isnt a brand new policy so when we show up with our cooler, it isnt confiscated

Many people bring the soft sided coolers. I have done it 3 times with no issues. Mine folds up and I put it in my luggage. The stateroom host/hostess has always kept it full for me. I think they would frown upon the larger, hard coolers. Keep in mind, there is a beverage cooler in each room. Keeps things cool, not super cold, but pretty good.
