Hi Everyone -- thought i would post an update since the surgery has come and gone .. I lost 2.2 in the left and 2.4 in the right or as my mom is telling everyone almost a whole bag of sugar from my chest. I got to take a shower today -- oh was that nice !!! the incisions look ok to me - i do have a little leakage but the drs say to expect some and the bruising looks bad but they don't hurt ? I am not nearly as sore as i thought -- I can actually put on t-shirts over my head (thougth i wouldn't be able to do that movement with my arms but i can ) I only took the pain meds for 2 days ( one was a traveling day to my mom's 2 hours away from my house ) I have been sleeping pretty well too even if its been on my back ( i am a stomach/side sleeper ) well off to rest on the couch .. oh about the breast feeding thing .. we asked well my mom did (i am not sure why -- i have no boyfriend?? ) but he said that 1/3 can and do , 1/3 make some milk but not enough and 1/3 can't .

Wow I am so glad the surgery went well for you!! Thanks for posting the update.


With my luck, they would go right back with pregnancy so I am going to wait until after all the babies are doine. Look at that, afer one surgery you lost almost 5lbs. Amazing.


I am glad you are able to do more than you thought you could. Let us know in a week or two how you feel.

Good Luck on your recovery, keep us all posted. I'd love to have one, I think I'll wait & see if we have baby #3 before I do it due to breastfeeding and all. I also don't know if I would qualify under insurance, I'm not huge, just bigger than I want to be for my 5'3" frame.
