Reduced new listings?

Just did a quick check of the resale search engine and it doesn't look like any new contracts have been listed since 6 April. May be a bug. If it's right, are folks just waiting to see how this new resale policy develops...more clarification of the impacts? Also looked like a fair number of contracts for sale if no new have been listed for three weeks...anyone have insight as to how sales have been impacted? Prices still seemed on par but if the above is correct I would imagine a correction soon.

There's been lots of new contracts. That site seems to be out of order with no plans on fixing it. I still get about 2 to 4 emails a day for new listings from various companies. I feel like the price is trending down a touch from when I put in an offer in early February.

I believe the site you refer to has not been updated for awhile. If it's the site I am thinking of, it is in the DIS filter and should not be discussed here, anyway. (See the Pinned Thread near the top of the forum for more info on discussing businesses in the site's filter).

The Timeshare Store listings have the posting date as the last 4 digits of the ID.

I am pending on a contract listed April 19th. I do not think the listing showed on any of the aggregate sites. Looks to me like the Saratoga Springs listings have gone up, I do think things are moving slower.

Looking at the Timeshare Store listings it does seem to me like there is a lower ratio of "sale pending" to for sale listings than I've seen in the past. In other words, it looks to me like things aren't selling as fast right now. Also, only a few contracts that have been listed since early April are now sale pending. Granted we were on a pretty hot streak with prices last year so it could have been due for a slow down anyways. The new resale restrictions may be giving some folks pause as well. It will be interesting to watch over the next several months.

I hadn't seen the ********** website, thanks for the link. I don't like the user interface and results display / sortability as much but it's up to date and that makes it more useful than one that's not.

I read on the MO website that the guy who started it improved it a bit based on the recent defunct state of the other site. It's such a help when your hunting for a contract.

There's a very slight "correction" from the January rush, but prices are still pretty high. Plus, it's good that you got a contract before the benefits were removed. (Even if you had another contract anyway, it's good to have the flexibility.)

we are heading into the busy summer months too where resale was hot last year, barely any contracts available it seemed. It will be interesting to see if this summer is the same way or if resales have cooked for a bit.
