Actually, in the past during the summer they would close intermittently, and there was no schedule til you walked up and they said it wasnt running. While it is fun to blame everything on cost cutting, this is something I wish they had done previously. Those tubes get so hot inside.

I've been on it many times in the summer over the years on days it wasn't too hot to ride. I'm sure there have been days this year when it wasn't too hot but they choose to close it across the board everyday without consideration to that days particular temperature. That to me sounds like cost cutting. Just like what they have done with the a lot of the live entertainment. Or I should say, former live entertainment.

We were there last week, and the monorail was closed often well past 6pm. And then it got so back up once it opened, it wasn’t even worth taking.

Apparently people in DL were using it like a ride and not getting off at DTD. So each stop, only 15-20 people were able to get on. They really need to make it one way both ways!!

We were there for Labor Day weekend and people were doing this.... finally they announced that it was one way and everyone had to get off.... the backup was so bad. They should always do this unless there’s a minimal line!
