Rediscovering songs from your youth

I just listened to With You I'm Born Again (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WBjo0RqUnjg) and forgot how beautiful it is. Syreeta's voice was gorgeous. I couldn't appreciate it then, like I can now.

I'm going to have to do some searching on him. I really don't know much about him and had no idea he wrote You Are So Beautiful!

A few years ago DS14 came to me and asked if I could get him a CD of this great "new" band AC/DC

I listen to the "oldies" station so I hear a lot of songs from my youth

I've been looking for songs to exercise to and came across quite a few songs I remembered from my club days--I wrote them all down and I'm going to hit itunes to have them for working out.

Those are just a few of them.

I figured if I danced to those songs back in the day and my body was pretty tight they may help fix the damage done by not exercising regularly---well a girl can hope can't she!

My age is finally beginning to sink in now that I relive my youth through songs and videos on VH1 Classics. I have XM radio, so fortunately I can spend my days jamming to Hair Nation and the Boneyard. I have also started amassing quite a collection of old school videos by downloading them from youtube to my ipod.

And a cousin of my wife's, also 14, just discovered this great band called AC/DC as well. Speaking of which, I think the anniversary of Bon Scott's death is coming up soon.
