Redeeming Fl resident exchange tickets

We will be staying at Bay Lake Tower and the first park we are going to is MK. I was planning on just walking there, but the FL resident exchange certificates that I bought online from Disney list where they can be redeemed as the other 3 theme parks or the Transportation and Ticket Center. Does that mean we will need to take the monorail from the Contemporary, get off at the Transportation and Ticket Center, redeem them there, and then get back on the monorail to MK? Is there no place to redeem them at MK?

You can do the deed at the Guest Relations and Ticket Booths right in front of the MK gates.
