Redeeming a purchase

I am curious and tried to see if already mentioned on the boards and didn't see a related post. I am wondering has anyone bought their park tickets through undercover tourist using their capital one venture card and then redeemed their purchase using their points. Just inquiring if the article i read has an validity stating park tickets bought through undercover tourist are considered a travel purchase therefore redeemable.
