redeem visa points for package?

How do you redeem your visa points? If I put my vacation on the Visa and I have 172 points, how do I redeem those points towards the WDW package?

You need to request a rewards card from Chase in order to use the points on your account. But if I am understanding your question correctly, you can't then use these points to pay the visa bill.

On the visa website (where your account info is shown) you have to click on "Manage Disney Rewards". It will take you to a rewards summary page. Then click "Redeem Rewards". On the next page, click "Order Rewards Items" and order a Disney Rewards Card. From there you can choose how many Rewards Dollars to transfer to that card. When you receive the card in the mail (watch for it, because it comes in an unmarked envelope) you can call Disney and tell them you want to make a payment on your vacation using Disney Dream Reward Dollars and give them the number on your card. It should look like a gift card.

this is true, but if you have the rewards card that you call Disney Visa and get, you can apply those dollars to your oayment on the vacation package. If not a package, you can use it at the resort to pay the room cost or anything else in WDW.

Another idea is to bring the rewards card on your trip. We use it for souveniers and sometimes for meals. You can use it at any CS place.

Once I used it at checkin. We had a room only ressie and we used the rewards toward the balance on the room.

We are on the deluxe dining plan. If I redeem my rewards for a Disney card, can we use it to help pay for our tips during the trip? How does this work?
