Anyone heard anything about red tide in the carribean? If so, which ports are affected? I have a friend who just got back from a carribean cruise on NCL and she said her excursion was cancelled in Cozumel because of red tide and all of the beach on NCL private island was closed.

I tried searching for info about Red Tide near Cozumel, but found nothing other than Florida’s massive outbreak. If possible, would you ask your friend which excursion was cancelled?

We head to Cozumel next month and hope to visit an all-inclusive resort.

I find Cruise Critic to be very helpful for looking for specific information on islands and issues at specific ports. Go to their boards and look at the Caribbean ports board.
