red spider mites getting rid of them??

Help they are all over our brick patio and with summer just around the corner and a lot of entertaining i really don't want these little pesty red bugs frecking out my guests. any suggetions will be helpful

Not only will they bother your guests, but they will end up killing plants and trees in the area.

I don't remember what my dad used to get rid of them, but I'll ask him when I get home.

really I didn't know they can kill the plants I was just outside and saw 100's of them on my dealia's (sp?) I hope someone knows a remedy ???

We get these every year and they've just made their appearance this week. I have always just used a spray that I'll use to kill bugs for my outdoor shrubs, flowers, etc. We get them all over our from porch and our front steps and large planter and I spray them everyday for a few days until I don't see them anymore (I don't spray the actual plants, flowers everyday but just the porch, stairs and planter). I've also heard you can just pour boiling hot water over them.
