1. I haven't heard Kerry's blaming the pitch on others either, but after watching the video, Kerry can't pitch. He's a good athlete, but baseball isn't his thing. He threw to the right by the way.

2. He names Eddie Yost as his favorite Boston Red Sox player, and the dude never played for the Red Sox. That's pretty bad.
Come on, with a baseball team rich in history like the Sox and Kerry being from Mass. I don't know for sure, but I've always thought Boston was a "baseball town" like NY, Chicago or St Louis. Maybe Kerry ticked off the fans with his lapse in Red Sox history.

3. People get tired of politicians getting in the way of their leisure time. The last thing people want to do at a baseball game is watch some politician throw out the first pitch. At least Kerry didn't sing Take me out to the Ball Game.

Actually, it may be the only one (Unless you count mispronounced words in an average speech)
