Red Lion Hotel

Anyone ever stayed at the Red Lion near the parks? I'm looking into getting a hotel room in June for my son's birthday and it looks like a nice and fairly affordable option, but I haven't seen much talk of it. If it's not a good one, can you recommend a hotel that won't be more than $120/night?

I stayed there in March. I thought that it was a nice hotel for the price. It was very standard without many amenities, but for the price it was ok and I would recommend it

I got Red Lion off Priceline for May for $60 a night. Have been a Hojo loyalist for years but can no longer justify the much higher pricing.

Thanks. I think I'll go for it. HoJo is too expensive now and while I love the DLH experience, I definitely can't justify that again for at least a few years.

We stayed at the Red Lion December 2012. The rooms were clean staff was very nice. I wished we stayed closer to the park though. You could walk it but a little far after walking all day. We scored a $79.00 a night rate with Travel Zoo.
Try looking at the Tropicana, I made a reservation for December 2014 for $89.00 a night.
