Red Lion Hotel on Groupon

Tonight the Red Lion Hotel on South Harbor was added to Groupon. 79-89 a night including weekends. This is way cheaper then I was seeing on the other discount hotel sites. I've stayed here before and it's really nice. Just thought if mention because if I hadn't already booked my hotel on Priceline (non-refundable) I would be on this!

We stayed there a year ago. Had absolutely abysmal service from the front desk. But the doorman person was embarrassed by how we were treated and was super nice. The hotel itself was ok. We walked both ways twice a day but it was a loooonnnnggg walk back late one night from ESPNZone. Nice and close to Bubba Gumps though. Won't stay there again due to experience at front desk.

Website shows 14 per day. Also it is a long walk but ART stops directly in front and was super fast, cheap, easy. I had good service when we were there so sad to hear that others didn't...so many rude people now days everywhere you go...can really put a damper on things

It was beyond general rudeness and into the area of bold faced lying and just plain mean.

I've stayed there twice and other than them missing cleaning our room one day, I have no complaints. We're staying there again next month when we go.

We're staying there next week upon a friend's recommendation. She said they just walk next door to the Toy Story lot and ride the bus back and forth from there. Has anyone done this?

We usually rode ART because it was right outside the door and fast. You can see the Toy Story lot from the hotel thou (right next door) and we rode it back one afternoon. Super easy too and fairly short walk thru the parking lot.

Why walk all the way to the park when you can walk to the Toy Story lot directly next door?
