I saw a deal on Groupon & am wondering if I should change my reservation & book the Redlion. I am used to really comfy beds like they have at HoJo, Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn or Homewood Suites. If you were to compare Redlion to these hotels would you say the beds/hotel is comparable? Its really important to me after a long day walking at the parks to rest in a comfy bed. TIA for any & all responses.

I don't know how comfy the beds are but I just bought a $70 night deal on Priceline for the Red Lion. it was a express deal but it was pretty easy to tell what hotel it was before I bought it. You would save $19 a night if they still have that deal available.

We usually stay at Hiltons and love their beds. We stayed at Red Lion one weekend a while ago and I don't remember particularly what the bed was like. That probably means it was just fine. Doesn't stand out as being luxurious, but also doesn't stand out as being horrible or not getting any sleep. It was "acceptable". :)

Thanks for your replies. I decided to change my stay at HoJo which was $161 a night to Red Lion $85 a night Memorial Day weekend. At $76 a night ($228 total) savings I thought I have to take a chance. I did read the reviews on Tripadvisor and they were pretty good at 4 stars it must be pretty good. I sure wish I could use priceline but I am so picky and like to read reviews and see pictures of my hotel before booking and just not knowing would kill me and I usually am not flexiable on my dates as well.. :( I got a great deal on Groupon that is still going on if anyone else is interested..

I've stayed at the Red Lion on a Priceline deal before (and will be again in a couple of weeks). It was surprisingly luxurious for the money and I was very comfortable there, bed included. From my experience, you can basically be guaranteed that a 3 or 3.5 star hotel on Priceline will be the Red Lion lol!

We've stayed at the Red Lion three times in the past and I've never had a complaint about their beds after a long day in the parks. I hope you enjoy your stay!
