Red Horse Inn, Extended Stay-USF, Quality Inn & Suites-USF

I got good rates for all of these places (all under $55) for a week in October. Does anyone have any recommendations (good or bad) about any of these places? We are just looking for a reasonably quiet and clean place to put our heads each night...all the while being close to USF/IOA/SW (15 min or less with traffic).

From the hotel threads stuck at the top it seems that Quality Inn & Suites was an awful place under a prior name..but not much info on it since it became a QI.

I don't want to discourage you, but the Red Horse Inn is not very nice. It is a renovated motel, but all the rooms are not done yet. The website rooms look great, but not all of them are like that yet. The location is ideal as it is right down the road from Universal, but when we were there there was a room with a broken window, the hallways are really hot and the room was not that nice. If I were you, I would bid on priceline or hotwire and place Seaworld/Universal area. You may get a better hotel at a cheaper price. I hope you have a great trip no matter what you decide!
