Recurring nightmare about my teenager

I keep having a recurring nightmare that my good kid turned horrible. In it, she's smoking, doing drugs, mouthing off to me terribly and other assorted bad behaviors. I'm very frustrated and sad in the dream.

Then I wake up and I'm so thankful it isn't real.

Anyone else have this type of dream about their kid?

hmm...I did 2 out of those 3 as a teenager...guess was pretty horrible.

I wasn't an angel either and after these dreams, I know how much I must have freaked out my parents.

well...then you know it's just a part of growing up.

we all went through that "stretch your legs" part of growing up...testing our parents limits and such. I mouthed off to my parents quite a lot...and I started smoking.

however I still went to college...still got a good job...and still have a fantastic relationship with my parents.

About 6 months ago I had a recurring nightmare that my dd was dead. Went on for about a week and the weekend she went to her dad's I didn't sleep hardly at all. I kept thinking the phone would ring and I'd be told he was in an accident and she was killed. I have no clue where this was coming from but it horrified me.....
