Recreating memories

My daughter was 6 the first time she saw Mickey. I can still remember that day! Now she is 17... Usually too cool for characters. Thanks for the great idea! Mine was five, and it will be her Sweet-Sixteen next trip, Dec. 30th! Seems like yesterday!

You are very welcome! I took a picture of the old photo on my phone and showed the photographer and Mickey so they would know what I wanted. Mickey played along very well! And so did Minnie!

After my daughter kissed Mickey, my son got down on one knee and kissed Minnie's hand... The characters were wonderful. Watching the interaction is just magical

Love this idea!

I'm going to have to do it for DD's first trip this December--and then remember to recreate it whenever we go back (which will be often, hopefully!).
