Hi guys- been a crazy few days! so my last post was at single digits at 9 days, now we are at 2 days left!! I can't believe after tongiht, i only have one more 'sleep' until the trip.
and GREAT NEWS- i got the job offer today! I need to take a drug test tomorrow (great timing to have to run one more errand huh?) but i will start 12/28. I will work 2 more days during Christmas week at the current job to wrap up and transition projects, but then have off 3 days of Christmas week, so that will be nice. I am leaving on good terms too- the boss is sad to see me go and wishes i would stay, but it just isn't the right fit for me. I am excited and nervous about the new job, but it is a great opportunity with much less stress and less responsiblity. I am looking forward to that part! so glad i got the offer and everything will be sorted out before we leave. ahhh.....i can breathe a sigh of relief and really enjoy vacation now.
So poor Will got sick this past weekend, fever, coughing, sinus, watery eyes etc. Got him some meds from the doc, but he was still feeling pretty pooped tonight after rebounding a bit yesterday. I just hope he is somewhat well by Thursday. At least we have a prescription to take with us.
So most of the to do list is now done. I am almost all packed now, got our ADRs confirmed, stopped our mail service, bathed the dogs, done the laundry etc.
Tomorrow, I just have to vacuum, do one last load of laundry at my sisters house down the street (our washer died, i know great timing!) and final packing of some last minute toiletries and we are ready! it will be a busy departure day on thursday- i have to drive DH to work, so we aren't leaving a car at his work. then i have a hair appt at 9am for highlights and then drop the dogs off at noon at the kennel. then get Will from day care and be home and ready by 1:15 for the car service! We then head to DH's work to get him (he works near the DFW airport) and head to the airport!
So we are very excited, everything is coming together! I just hope we don't have too high of expectations, but we are pretty happy go lucky and will be just happy to be there, period!
I'll try and post one more time before we head out. I won't have my pc with me on the trip, but will have my iphone and have downloaded the new eticket dis app which should make posting here a bit easier! check FB for pics too- Michelle Easler Peters!
Not me, not me! I'm still here. I have 9 days to go and am getting more excited as each day passes.
I read about that 20% off discount also---too bad we don't really have any QS locations planned into our trip. But who knows, maybe we'll be so sick of the DxDDP by the third day in that we'll do QS the rest of the time, in which case I'm so taking advantage of the 20% off!
I have so much left to do, I can't even think about things like participating in a cookie-swap at this point! I don't know how you do it!
Anywho, just wanted to pop in to let you know that you're not PTRing for no one, I'll be checking the DIS up until December 11th and then probably on the 12th from my iPHONE at the airport.
If I don't catch you again---have a great trip and maybe we'll see ya at
MVMCP on the 15th!

Hi Ann- can you believe the day is almost here!????? I'll head over to your PTR for one last look too! i'll be on my iphone and FB too- look for me on FB- i'll post updates there mostly! it's been so fun waiting this out together!!!
