Record attendance at the parks

I'm wondering if Star Wars land will be delayed as a result of the new movies? They have so much material to work with but there is going to be a lot more. Will they wait to see how the public reacts to the new movies before they commit to a big build?

Personally, i don't think so. The Star Wars movies will always be popular, regardless of the new films (although i do think Disney will do them justice) and i can imagine there's a pretty film idea of what will be in star wars land.

Mos Eisley Cantina is a given. Don't ask me why but i'd love a Full Size anamatronic Jabba the Hutt somewhere.

They are rumored to be waiting for the new movies so they can incorporate them into the new Star Wars attractions or area.

There's never been any mentioning of a Star Wars "Land" by Disney, yet that phrase is used over and over again. Stuff will probably come, but not the big showplace everyone is hoping for.

That said I doubt that they are waiting for the new films, especially since there is supposed to be a regular influx of movies from the core storyline and spin-offs over the next several years. They've got material now that they can do all sorts of things with.

I've mentioned on other posts that I think the real delay is related to the Paris bail out and how much more that may cost. Many don't agree with me, but I stand by it.

So basically FP+ is a huge success and the 100 or so complainers on DIS can stop making all the " I'm done with Disney" threads. :thumbsup2
