Reconsidering Mears for May 28th...

We decided to try Mears for our arrival on 5/28. We land before 10 am and we’re staying at Saratoga Springs. I’m wondering about the number of stops each bus makes. I am hoping to be at the resort before 12 noon - is that realistic? There’s only 2 of us and I don’t care about the price. How many stops does the average bus make? Do they stop at non-Disney resorts before? Thanks

The least time-consuming option will almost always be pre-booked private car service, where the chauffeur will meet you at baggage claim and take you right out to the car. I know you've said you don't care about the price; that said, for 2 people, it will be substantially more expensive than Mears Connect, but so will Uber and Lyft if surge pricing is in effect.
The routing for Mears Connect is dictated exclusively by demand, so it's hard to tell you how many stops to expect, etc.

Thanks - I think we will stick with Mears fir arrival and Lyft for departure. It seems most of the negative experiences are with departing guests.

How was your Mears experience?

It was great! The bus was there when we arrived and we waited for about 10 minutes before leaving. The driver listed the stops in order: SSR, WL, CR, and one of the good neighbor resorts. SSR was first and the drive was maybe 25 minutes.

We used Lyft for our return to the airport. We were picked up at 4:15 pm and at thru TSA pre check at 4:47. The Lyft was $27.50 plus tip so the $35 for Lyft was cheaper than Mears Mears was $40 - $34 plus $6 tip.

I would have no problem using Mears again, but we will use Lyft in August. We asked our driver if it’s ok to stop at Publix for 10 minutes and he said yes, they do it all the time.
