I recently thought I might like to buy a Cricut Expression & the SCAL software, but after more research I realized it would be the same as the Wishblade I have sitting in the closet.
2 yrs ago we got a new computer & just never reconnected my Wishblade. I hadn't really used it much at all before that since I really never had the time to devout to learning it. Hoping I now have the time or will if my DH gets deployed. Also, there is way more tutorials, help, & sharing of files online now than there was years ago when I first bought it.
Computer we have now runs Vista 32 bit. Laptop is Vista 64 bit. No plans on going to Windows 7 anytime soon since I have no problems with Vista & never have.
What software am I supposed to install? I have 3 CDs here.
Pink Wishblade by the way.
1. Xyron Wishblade v3.0
2. Create and Cut v 1.0 (for windows 2000 & XP)
3. HSN CustomCard Set & Embellishment Shapes
I'm guessing that 3rd one is purely optional & isn't software at all, just shapes.
For anyone using Wishblade with Vista, what software are you using?
I plan on keeping it simple & just doing words & welding them together. And maybe some shape files I download from other people. I remember trying to learn creating my own shapes & found it too much at the time.
could you also point me to some of your favorite sites where people share free files?
