Right now we have planned to go to HS on a friday night, and Epcot on a saturday. Both days are like a 7-8, spring break time, both are recommended parks. However, i am considering switching the days, so that Fantasmic (a late show for my kids) would be on our last night and we could just sleep in the next morning, have breakfast and head to the airport). The problem is that Friday is late EMH at Epcot, and Saturday is early EMH at HS, so i would be switching from recommended days to non-recommended days. However, these are not full days planned and i think with FP+ i could accomplish everything. We have DS7 and DS2 with us, using a double stroller, staying at YC.
If we arrive at rope drop to Epcot on a friday late EMH day, would it be much more crowded at 9am than on a non-EMH day (it's a late EMH day, not an early EMH day)?
At HS we are only doing Star Tours and RNR Coaster/TSMM using FP+ (coaster for older son, TSMM for baby), having HBD Fantasmic dinner package and seeing Fantasmic, may do a little shopping as well. But that's it! Planning to arrive around 3pm and stay till closing. So would this be unpleasant to do on an AM EMH day, even though i'd have FP+/reservations for everything?
At Epcot, we would only go for the morning 9-1, and after lunch return to the hotel to swim. So we could use our three FP+ in the morning (not sure for which rides yet, but my kids like Nemo and Figment, we would try to do sum of all thrills at rope drop). Have lunch in WS on our way out the international entrance, swim and return for a dinner reservation. So again, we wouldn't be there in the afternoon and we would have FP+ for most of what we'd like to do (except SOAT which we would do first thing). We would have a second day at epcot to do WS and finish FW.
Are we better off sticking to the recommended days i have planned, or would switching the days still make for pleasant experiences, knowing we are only doing partial days at each park using FP+ to accomplish most things. We would NOT actually benefit from the EMH, but i think this would make the end of our trip more relaxing knowing we won't hit a park after a late night Fantasmic, as our morning after fantastic would consist of packing up, Cape may character breakfast, and maybe a quick walk to the boardwalk. What would you do? Thanks.
