Recommended Tux Rental Places

Hello everyone,,

Im having trouble figuring out where to send my FI to pick a tux. He lives in Michigan and Im in Canada so I have no idea where to look. Disney suggested 3 places in my planning packet but they don't seem to have web pages to browse. Can anyone recommend a good place??

has a link for canada and there is one about 15 minutes from Disney. They have a great selection, you can get fitted at any store, and they will ship them to the one you need. Plus, if you find a bridal expo that they are at you can save about $30 per tux.

We used http://www.carolynallens.com They'll come and fit you at your resort.

Carolyn Allens uses After Hours and their website is http://www.afterhours.com I looked on their first to choose the style and then took my own measurements of the men and sent all details to Carolyn Allens.

The service and price was good.

We used Carolyn Allens also and had nothing but great things to say about their services. They are so accomidating in that they bring the tuxes to the hotel, they make sure everything is going to fit if not they will bring you replacements...........they will come and pick up the tux from the hotel after your wedding also so you don't have to worry about a thing.

If you want to get your dress steamed before the wedding Carolyn Allen's also does that.

Where Can I find out pricing from Carolyn Allens? We were planning on having the guys rent tuxes at home using the "Cruise Package" In which case the customer can keep the tux for 2 weeks and not get charged any additional fee. Will Carolyn Allens let us keep the tux for the whole weekend, or must they come pick it up the next day?
Please more info about this service as I may want to look into it.

We didnt even think about renting Tuxes at Disney because transportation to get them would have been an issue, but If they deliver and pick up, it might be worth it.

i wish we used them we we got stuck returning everyone tuxedos the next day, working on two hours sleep.

Will they fit you one day and have a tux for you the next? We are arriving the day before our wedding rather early. someone mentioned something about them fitting you in your room.

Also, how much is their gown steaming?

All of the pricing infor for CAs is on thier website, listed above. As for if they will fit you one day and deliver the next, yes, but you must reserve them several weeks beforehand and provide them with your sizes, etc.

My husband and his guys sent in thier info about 8 weeks out, they came and fitted them in his mother's room the day fbefore the wedding and delivered them to the hotel the morning of our wedding.

Also, we kept the tux and extra day and they did not charge us extra (we needed it for the MK photo session).

I forgot to mention that as for pricing on her site this is NOT offered. However if you request a brochure and pricing list she will be more than happy to send you one.

To give you an idea in pricing I have the list from my wedding which was in May 2003 and pricing was as follows

Clairborne, FUBU, and Tommy Hilfiger style tuxedos were 150.00
All other styles were 115.00

All tuxedos include a jacket trousers shirt backless vest or cummerbund, coordination neckwear, formal jewelry (studs and cufflinks) and classic patent lace up shoes.

For additional charge you can get
Burgundy Mickey Mouse Silk Cummerbund Set 25.00
(Set includes Cummerbund, bow tie top hat and cane)

Full back Vests 15.00
*All vest style are included with the Clairborne, FUBU, and Tommy Hilfiger style tuxedos at no additional charge.

Steppin Out Perry Ellis Cap Toe and Verdi style shoes 15.00
*All shoe styles are included with the Clairborne, FUBU, and Tommy Hilfiger style tuxedos at no additional charge.

Formal socks Black white or ivory 4.00
