Recommended time btwn flight arrival and ADR usind Disney transport

How long would you recommend from the time I land at Orlando airport to the time of a dining reservation at EPCOT?

We will be using DME to get to our hotel (Port Orleans Riverside), check in, drop off bags and take the bus to EPCOT Mexico.

i would give 1.5 hours for ME transport to POR (probably closer to 1 hour, but gives you 30 minutes for potential flight or other delays). 20 minutes for check-in (if you do online check-in), 15 minutes to room and back to bus stop. 30 minutes for bus to EPCOT and 20 minutes for walk to Mexico.

That's 2 hours and 55 minutes.

Just a FYI we had a 10 to 15 min. wait on our prior trips to get on the next ME bus. Last time due to the number of people ahead of us we had to wait for the 3rd ME bus so it was around 45 mins. (Saturday as opposed to Fridays on the prior trips)

These times are probably accurate. However, I would add an extra hour for "just in case", so 4 hours.

I seldom make any ADRs for less than 3 hrs after planned airport arrival. It takes up to 90 mins just to get from MCO to the resort. Then, maybe 30 mins to get checked in and to your room. Then, you need at least 30 mins to get from a resort to a park (unless you can walk there), and then leave time to get to the restaurant in that park. Yep, at least 3 hrs.

I also allow 3 hours. Sometimes it's less and sometimes it takes longer. Last trip, for example, DME took longer because the driver announced he forgot to go to one of the resorts and had to double back to it.

If you're running behind you can take a taxi from POR to Epcot to save time.

To save time do online check in. Everything will be already be printed, assembled and waiting for you. It usually takes me about 3 minutes to do check in.

I really think that's cutting it way too close.

Thanks everyone. The ADR I have is for 2.5 hours after we land. I think I will keep it and see what time we get to the resort, and if it looks like we won't make it, will call to cancel.
