Looking for recommendations. Our DS and his 3 ROTC/college roommates are planning their spring break trip to WDW. They all anticipate going on active duty after graduation and this will probably be their last "pals" trip for quite some time. They will stay 5 nights at Jambo House (DVC). None of the 3 roommates have been to WDW before. They will all have the dining plan. Looking for fun dinner recommendations for the group (per DS, Ohana is a must. Everything else negotiable). TIA!

I think a character meal for these guys would be a hoot: the pictures would be priceless, it is great value on the DDP, and if your DS eats like mine does a AYCTE location would fill them up at least for a little while! How about Chef Mickey's? Or 'Ohana breakfast with Stitch? Maybe even Akershus with the princesses? They would have great photos with the "girl at home" to show the guys! :flower1:

My son celebrated his 22nd birthday at Chef Mickey's for dinner with a few friends. They had a great time.

Someone on another thread mentioned Hoop-de-Doo. That might be fun as well. And if they are all 21 or older, they offer adult beverages.

With that make up for guys, I would suggest Sci Fi Dine In. The burgers are good, the show on the screen is campy enough to be silly at times and they can laugh at how life used to be. My husband and I are in our 50s and when we went this last time (it's a favorite), we had a good chuckle on how this was so different from what our grandkids are growing up with now.

My husband and our teenage son had a blast at the Crystal Palace character buffet with Pooh and Friends. I agree that the photo ops would be great and AYCTE is usually a winner with young men.

Whispering Canyon was a hit with my son. We really loved Rose and Crown and Raglan Road. Marrakesh is on the exotic end for a lot of young people but I bet they'd enjoy the bellydancer. ;)

Shortly after college graduation, I was at WDW with friends and we only had one TS meal in our budgets. Fortunately for us, All Star Sports had literally just opened so we could stay on property! Our one TS was a clear choice - it was always going to be Biergarten without question. It was a ton of fun, a lot of food and everyone enjoyed the beer.

Biergarten is a ton of fun and my husband and I enjoy it as well. However, the beer might not be a choice. These are collage kids and ROTC students. Drinking age is 21 and I don't think any of the ROTC kids want to put anything on the line and Disney will check IDs.

Boma (for certain!!!) IMHO best prepared meats on WDW property, Cape May buffet (good but not great--PLENTY of seafood), Garden Grill (best character interaction on property!) has something for everyone to enjoy and unlimited refills.

Hoop dee doo is a great time! Also Trails End Buffet at Ft Wilderness has yummy food and lots of variety.
Via Napoli & Trattoria Al Forno at the Boardwalk have great Italian food!
Ohana is a great choice! :) It's one of our faves

Definitely did not mean to suggest any violation of law, Disney policy or ROTC rules! I inferred from the original post and the title that the college students are all college seniors just about to graduate at the time of travel and, therefore, likely to be age 21 or over.

Yep, most college seniors are 21+. I thought that your Biergarten suggestion was a great one.

I'd also add Raglan Road to the mix.

And I'm sure they likely know this but they should be eligible for military discount tickets, which are significantly cheaper than most others.

50s Prime Time would be a fun one! Big portions, and they may get a hoot out of the waitress's antics!

99% of college kids turn 21 during their junior year...
