What are your recommendations for Savannah View requests , if any, that you are willing to share here?

I have a special needs DD, and it would be nice to be near an elevator and fairly close to pool. But nice animal view also a priority. She has a wheelchair, but at times she can walk a good distance without it, depending on how she is that day.

Also one teen, one preteen. My 2 older teens may also be there later in the week if they can skip some classes and drive down.

Within Jambo (not fully sure about the new Kidani) there are multiple elevator banks, so being near the elevator does not guarantee really close to the lobby. I would guess you want savannah view close to main lobby elevators which may leave the middle Arusha savannah.

I am not sure if there is a nearby elevator bank that gives you pool access on the right/pool/Uzima side. The pool would be on the 1st floor and I think there are som cash hotel rooms on that level)
I know I was near the elevator bank on the left/sunset savannah side and the elevator did not go down to the 1st floor (Lobby is on the 2nd, for safety reasons there are no first floor savannah view rooms. All Jambo DVC is on the 5th (and concierge on 6th)

I was quite happy with my Sunset Savannah animal room view, especially late afternoon, I think the amount of various times you look and the animal feeding schedule play a lot into the animal variety you see.

Also, not all elevators go down to Mara. Although I was close to an elevator, it only went to the lobby. So if I wanted to go to Mara, I felt like I was walking "to haycks and back" (as my grandmother used to say) just to get to the elevator that went down to the first floor. I was way out to the Sunset Savanna end of Arusha Savanna (if that makes sense) and I had to walk all the way to the other side to get an elevator that would go to the first floor. That's one thing I preferred about my standard view room-it was right next to the elevator that went all the way down.

Are the feeding times posted?
Or are they standard?

In your experience, what are the best times to see the animals?
