Hi,

My mum has asked me to look into park tickets for her holiday in November, and I am going round in circles a bit!!:lmao:

We like to go into the parks whenever the mood takes us, so we always get length of stay passes, but my mum already knows that she won't be going to the parks all the time, so I am trying to find her the best price from a reliable source!!:goodvibes

She will want 2 days at Universal (with park hopper option) and 4 days at WDW (again with park hopping option). I have already bought her the MVMCP tickets, so that will cover another afternoon/evening at MK for her.

I am considering the themeparkticketsdirect website's 'essentials ticket' which gives 14 days at WDW and UO for £305 per person.

Or looking at the gate prices it works out at roughly £285 each, for 2 days at Universal and 4 days at WDW (with hoppers) - but that is obviously at the mercy of the exchange rates, and doesn't give them any flexibility with number of days they go into the parks.

Anyone got any better ideas??

Many thanks for any help!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I recommend attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk

They have lots of options and maybe give them a call as they are very helpful.

I have bought tickets from them in the past and have for my holiday this year.:thumbsup2

thank you both for your replies:thumbsup2

Thanks for the links Wayne:) - I will let mum know and she can decide for definite if she literally wants to just confine herself to 4 park days or if she wants the flexibility of going in whenever she likes over the fortnight!! - I know what I prefer, but its hard to decide for someone else!!:goodvibes

thanks again:love:

Just a thought on Disney tickets - if buying the MYW ticket (with or without hopper option) there only appears to be around $25 price difference between a 4 and 10 day ticket, so it may be worth her considering the 10 day. This way she could either:

(a) still combine with hopping option to give more flexibility but over more days, or

(b) save the $50 hopping option, but then split the Disney days up to do a 1/2 day in the parks then the remainder of the day shopping/relaxing/ whatever else!! The only downside is that this may need a little more planning to make sure she gets to see everything she wants to (e.g. Fantasmic).

She could also use a couple of entries just to visit at night to view the Fireworks or other evening shows.

thanks tony - that is a really good idea - I guess she could even buy the 10 day non hopper but use two days on the same day to go to different parks if she really wanted to??:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

They will price match though, they did for me just the other week.

I never use companies that price match anymore, Virgin Atlantic once offered it(not sure if they do now) but wouldn't pay out the difference, Tesco Car insurance the same, wouldn't pay.
I guess if they price match before your hand over your money its not so bad but I just don't like companies that overcharge to pricematch, why not just do best price upfront? I would rather use the company with lower price.

Unfortunately not - without the hopper option you can only visit one park on any one day, although you can exit and re-enter the same park on that day.

However, my thought was that she could break up several days into part relaxing (pool, shopping etc) and part theme park, which would utilise most of the 10 days on te Disney ticket.

Yes it was before I paid.

No you definitely can't use 2 entries one day on a non hopper.

We did our last trip on a 10 day MYW non hopper and it was fine with planning.

You can re enter the same park in a day if you want.
