Recommendations on strong smelling candles

Bath and Body Works has some pretty good scents. They just had their 3-wick candle sale for $9.95 a few weeks ago and are now having their Semi-Annual Sale. I really like the Spiced Apple Toddy.

About 25 years ago I worked in a store that sold Yankee Candles. After about 2 months of working there, I couldn't smell anything at all. It took about 2 years before I could finally smell anything again...it was kind of a blessing and a curse.

They probably reduced the scent since many people find it overpowering enough they get sick.
Then there is the whole safety issue with candles.....but to each his own.

I get headaches with strong smelling candles.

This might be a crazy question to you but have you had covid? Reason I ask is it has repeatedly been something they've found throughout the pandemic---an increase in complaints about candle scent strength issues but coinciding with covid cases.

I would wonder even more considering it's not just one brand for you OP you've found.
Nope, luckily have not had covid.

Aldi 3 wick jar candles. Cheap and stinky!
I prefer the “luxury” 2-wick candles. They are named as “No. X” and are infrequent Aldi finds. They were priced at $5 and $6 each in November/December and are long-burning and very fragrant.
