Recommendations on cabins on Disney Wish

Based on reviews that I read, it is recommended to have a cabin in the middle of the ship to avoid seasickness. However, is there a particular floor that you would recommend on the Disney Wish? I was seeing some cabins available on Floor 8 category 04B. But wanted to check with the group here if that would be a good option.

Also, another question I had was that other than the drinks package, do I have to pay for any other food options (i.e. meals in a restaurant that charges, etc?)

Those should be good. I recommend being farther away from the Laundry.

And I personally avoid cabins across from “gray” areas on deck plans, as they often have crew work doors with accompanying noise.

They meet the recommendation of cabins above, beside, below (and across) from you.

There might be an ice cream sweets shop. I believe beignets cost, as do a few food items in the pub. Popcorn and candy outside the theaters have a fee.

Meals, quick service food, including pizza and soft serve, plus room service are included in your fare.

Adult-only restaurants (Palo, Enchante) are extra cost.

Drinks package is basically wine (bottles) and discount on multiple beers.

Regarding drinks: there is no charge for coffee, tea, soda, and juice in the main dining rooms, from the buffet, and from the beverage station near the buffet. There is a charge for specialty drinks listed on the menu, such as smoothies, and for alcoholic drinks. If you order something that has a charge, you will be asked for your Key to the World card, so you will be aware.

At bars and lounges, there is a charge for all drinks except water. However, you can bring in a drink from the drink station without a problem.

From room service, there is a charge for sodas, but no charge for coffee or tea.

Lots of people interpret this recommendation as referring to forward/stern of the ship. But the actual suggestion is to be in the center of the ship. That is in all dimensions, not just front to back. It's also side to side and top to bottom.
