Recommendations needed for resort dinner

I just booked 3 days at all star resort in two weeks for my almost 13 yr old and me. We are park veterans but never stay at a Disney property.

We arrive Feb 8, go to MK the 9th, then home the next day.

I’d like a memorable dinner on the 8th but can’t wrap my head around where to go and ease of travel(no car). She’s a foodie who will try anything!

Any insight is appreciated!! Ty!

I mean, there are SO many options. Personally if I was looking for something extra special that felt out of the ordinary, I might do California Grill or one of Narcoosees/Citricos. Views of the MK fireworks and all. Toppolino Terrace has been getting great reviews although I haven't been myself to truly be able to recommend.

Both Cali Grill and Topolino's were fabulous when we were there in November.

Trattoria al Forno was also very good. We'd had some mediocre dinners there in the past but had a lovely one this last time.

We've never had a bad meal at Yachtsman either.

For ease of transportation and a real experience I’d look at Boma or Sanaa. It’ll be a short trip from All Stars to Animal Kingdom, and another short trip from Animal Kingdom to AKL . Good food and you can see the animals!

So you don't have to use multiple buses or other forms of transportation, I would look at the restaurants at Disney Springs. We love the Boathouse. Otherwise, if you don't mind busing to a park and then taking another bus, boat or monorail to a resort, I would just see what is available at this point. We love Citricos at GF, but I don't think it is open that night. We are also fans of the restaurants at Swan/Dolphin which may be a little easier to book - especially like bluezoo. You would need to take a bus to DHS and then boat or walk to Swan/Dolphin or simply take an uber/lyft to any resort you choose to go to.

If you're okay spending a little more, try Topolino's Terrace at the Riviera Resort. It has French and Italian inspired dishes. My husband and I were just there this month for the first time and it is so worth it! The food, while expensive, is probably the best food we have gotten on Disney property ever. It melts in your mouth, and everything from the appetizers, to the entrees, to the dessert was delicious. Definitely a foodie's dream come true. There's also a great view of the Disney property from the rooftop, where you can enjoy a drink or just sit out while you wait for your table. We want to make it a tradition to go back there every time we go to Disney!

Otherwise, Trattoria al Forno at the Boardwalk is pretty good (Italian), as is Ale & Compass for seafood at the Yacht Club. Cape May Café in the Beach Club is also a decent buffet option. Another fun place to dine is at the Polynesian's Ohana. It's family style with several courses (I especially love the bread and the bread pudding) and you can get some great views of Magic Kingdom across the lagoon. We ate at all of those places on our honeymoon in 2019 and would go back to them as well. We just wanted to try some new places on this trip! If you need any menu recommendations from these places or need help getting to one of these places, I can help with that, too :)
