*Recommendations for Pre-reception hors d'oeuvres please*

Hello! I wanted to get some opinions from people on the ABSOLUTE BEST/FAVORITE hors dourves for a pre-reception. Currently, we are doing the cheese display but want two other fantastic hors dourves, preferably one or both of them passed. What were some of the biggest hits for those of you who had your wedding and for those of you who haven’t yet, what have you heard/tried that was great??? We tried the beef blue cheese wrapped in bacon and loved that, but I’d really like some opinions from you all who know best! I also love the idea of doing sliders or anything unique as well. Feel free to go crazy, I’m looking for all suggestions. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

We tried the scallops wrapped in bacon and MAN were they good! Of course, you can wrap pretty much anything in bacon and have it taste good...

About 10 years ago I used to work for a really fancy catering company in Boston while in college and hands down scallops wrapped in bacon always went the fastest. Sweedish meatballs seemed to be a close second (but bleh! I don't like them!). Spanikopita (sp?) is really good too, it is spinach and cheese wrapped in a flaky pastry. Fruit/veggies and cheese and crackers were always really popular too.
