Recommendations for Kona and Coral Reef

Went to Kona today for lunch and the fish tacos were to die for! I have been thinking about them ever since I had them. Can't wait to go back.

Kona -
The Macadamia Mahi Mahi is simply outstanding. My mother had the Pan Asian Noodles and they were what I like to call "unspectacular". They were out of the chocolate macadamia nut tart (which was kinda the reason I went there in the first place  ) but the white chocolate cheesecake and Kiluea Torte were both pretty darn yummy.

Coral Reef -
OH MY GOODNESS the blackened catfish was amazing, but the amazing part of it was the cheesy grits. SO rich and just to DIE for! And the Chocolate Wave for dessert! Don't let anyone tell you it is just a chocolate lava cake - it was the most sinfully rich and gooey piece of deliciousness that ever passed my lips. Plus the atmosphere at Coral Reef is so much fun - loved it there :)

Another fan of the Chocolate Wave- kinda' like a molten chocolate cake. The lobster bisque was fantastic, too. I let ds order it on the ddp when appetizers were inc., thinking I'd get to eat it. He loved it and ate the whole thing! My plan backfired!
