recommendations for hotel near Universal/seaworld

I just got a quote to stay at WDW for a week while traveling to universal and boy was it high! I had wanted to stay there for less packing but I don't think so now.
Now I am looking for something reasonable, decent with a pool close to universal or sea world. We will end our trip staying at CSR.

We stayed last fall at Hilton Grand Vacation Club @ Sea World International. It was beautiful and right across the street from SW. We got a 2br condo thru RCI (the co. we trade our timeshare thru) I don't know what the rack rates are but we loved the place and location.
beautiful pools w/dive-in movies, billiards, ping-pong, hot tubs, jacuzzi in our master bath, full kitchen, big-screen tv, just perfect.

I stay at the hawthorne Suites on Canada Avenue that is close US and Sea World.

We stayed at the Sierra Suites several years ago and it had the free shuttle to US and the trolley stop was very close and we took the trolley to SW and Wet & Wild

you should check skyauction. you might be able to get a pretty good deal on a vacation rental last minute. its looks as though they updated their inventory with alot of hotels. Might be a good time to purchase a hotel near universal.
