I know it's been a while since I posted about my sister's wedding but now she is finally getting on the ball. She found a dress she likes by Maggie Sottero but we are looking for places to purchase the dress. I know people have had luck with ebay. I have found an ebay seller that has a dress 'inspired by Maggie' but would love some recommendations.

Also, the invitation design is almost complete but was wondering what size envelopes everyone orders?? We aren't using pockets. There is the invite and the rsvp. The invites are not square but the final size has not been set yet. Help!

Thanks!:cutie:

I'm not sure on the Ebay thing. My invitations are going to be 5x7 in a size A7 envelope. You can also go with a 4x6 card then you can use A2 envelopes. I wouldn't go much smaller then that. I'd say it would depend on the amount of wording you want to use.

eBay is a great resource, but I wouldn't buy any clothing from it unless it is guaranteed to be able to be sent back with a full refund if it doesn't fit. Maybe ask the seller, then go from there.

Have you tried netbride dot com?

I ordered my at home reception dress from there and it was almost $200 cheaper.

What size envelopes for the RSVPs? Or would it be okay to make them into postcards?

Thanks for the netbrides tip! I am passing that on to my sister. :)

I'm doing a card, that's invitation size. 4.25x5.5 (1/2 an 8.5x11 cut in half and folded in half) since I have so many of those envelopes sitting around, from making birthday cards and such.

I have heard of people using postcards.
