Recommendations for Character Dining

+1 for Garden Grill at EPCOT for costumed characters. Akershus is the best on property for Princesses (yes, better than CRT).

As all the PPs mentioned, Garden Grill is great, has the classic characters and will be your most convenient option as it's in EP. If you want princesses, Akershus is lovely. If you really want to leave the park, Chef Mickey's would be fairly convenient as you can simply take the monorail to TTC and then transfer to the resort monorail to get to Contemporary. If you are in the mood for a trip like that, you could also put 1900 Park Fare into the mix. Another option (and possibly quicker than heading to the MK area) would be to take the Skyliner to DHS and go to Hollywood & Vine.

Garden Grill all the way. Ease of travel, table-served food, quality of food, and classic characters. When we've gone in the past, we were lucky to see the characters twice.
