Hi everyone! I'll be running my first Disney race in February and i want to carry a camera! What does everyone use to carry theirs during the race? TIA!

I hold it a lot. It is a small point and shoot. I wrap the strap on my wrist. I also use a spibelt.

I carry my point and shoot in my hand with the strap around my wrist.

For the marathon this past January, I just used my iPhone as my camera. I carried it in my iFitness belt but held it a lot of the time. It was nice to not have to carry a phone and a camera.

I'm planning on holding my phone (which I'll use as a camera) throughout the race. I'll just throw it in my skirt pocket if I find myself not using it as much as I think I will. I want to take a picture of ever mile marker so I think I'll just keep it out :thumbsup2

I also used my iPhone. I ran in a Sparkle Tech skirt which has two big pockets in the shorts and it fit down well in there and was easy to grab out when I needed it.

I carried a point and shoot camera in my hand during the WDW 1/2 in January. It was nice to have it ready for photo ops at any moment. I had thought about just using my iPhone, but I carry that on a strap on my arm ( with my running app going), and it would have been a pain to take it out every time I wanted to take a picture. :)

I use a ifitness belt with 2 pouches. I put my iphone in one and my point and shoot in the other and would take it out when I wanted to take pictures.

Thanks everyone! my HTC doesnt take as nice of pictures as an iphone so i'll prob want to take a camera as well. I dunno if i'll want to carry it in my hand the whole way so i might look into some kind of pouch. (Maybe a skirt with pockets for my costume!)

I've been thinking about this recently also! Thanks for the tips. Think I will start grabbing my point and shoot and taking it on runs with me to see how it affects / bugs me. Figure treat it like everything else. have trial runs with it to make sure you dont have any issues with it before race day.
