Recommendations for birthday dinner

This will be for just my DH and I the kids will go to the Wilderness Lodge Club Den for dinner and play for a few hours. What my DH likes is Prime Rib and Seafood but doesn't want to have to wear suit and tie to eat nice pair of pants and polo shirt (so take that into consideration). Any suggestions you can give me is great.

Try LeCeller at Epcot. Or the Yachtmans steak house at the YC. Some people like the Concourse Steak House at the CR.

My birthday favorites are Citricos and California Grill. They are a little $$$, but if you want to splash out, these are my recommendations. My husband is not an adventurous eater and loves the steak at both places. If you are a little more daring, you'll find amazing veal, seafood, chicken and lamb dishes at both. (Not to mention, the desserts are DIVINE!)

My stomach is growing just thinking about it!

I spent my 40th at the Chef's of Paris and it was great! My DW told them it was my Bday and when the meal was over the waiter came out with a chocolate cake with happy birthday written with chocolate sauce and a candle.

Excellent meal!!!

The ONLY place you need a suit jacket/tie is at Victoria & Alberts...other then that, you're set for anywhere!

I would suggest the California Grill...DH took me there on my birthday this past january...it was amazing! (I had the prime rib)

other good places to check out - Jiko at AKL or Artist Pointe at WL (since you're staying there anyway)

I highly recommend the YSH at the YC! They have awesome steaks and prime rib. They are limited in their seafood offerings. The YSH is a "must do" for us every trip.

Le Cellier in Epcot is another great place and hubby can get his prime rib. It's a little cheaper than YSH. Again, limieted seafood offerings.

Never been to the Concourse Steakhouse at the CR. They offer Prime rib. I have read hot/cold reports by posters. Again, limited seafood offerings.

For seafood I highly recommend Narcoossee's at the GF. Wonderful atmosphere and food. This is a "must do" for seafood each trip. They do not have Prime Rib but have Filet Mignon if hubby likes that.

Many of the above posters gave excellent dining places!

I would check out the menus at www.allears.com.

Well, for seafood we love flying fish, and they also happen to have one of the best steaks on disney property (no prime rib though).

We just had the most wonderful meal at Le Bistro at Epcot...scallops with black truffles, lobster and everything else you can imagine..but, no prime rib. This is a great special celebration restaurant...intimate atmosphere and outstanding food.

I also agree with chefs de france..a great place to eat.

We also love Artist Point..right there at wilderness lodge.

All of these places you are good to go in nice pants/shirt.

In the park..you are good to go at Le Bistro..as long as you aren't wearing a tank top or swim attire. It is only open for dinner, and most people looked like they had changed first..most had nice pants/shirt on.
