Recommendations for Anniversary Dinner

We're planning a 30th Anniversary trip back to Disney, where we spent our Honeymoon, the week Epcot opened. I have not been back since.

We would like to eat at one of the nicer restaurants on this special night.

We will be staying at the Contemporary, so a restaurant nearby would be preferred.

Would Cinderella's Palace be too hokey?

V & A at the GF is the top rated resturant at disney. It was recently a Zagat award winner.

I researched this for my own anniversary dinner, and decided on Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge (only because we couldn't afford V & A). I have seen rave reviews about the food from several posters and from what they stated it is quieter and more relaxing than Cindy's, where there are lots of kids and characters.

If the food options at AP are not to your liking, I would also look into Citricos, Narcoossee's, California Grill, Jiko. Those are all signatures though. If you are looking for something in the 1 TS price range, I really enjoyed Kona Cafe. We ate dinner there and was able to get out in time (with a cocktail in hand) to watch Wishes from the Poly beach. It was beautiful.

I personally stay away from any character meals and book my dinners at a later time, after 8pm or so. That way we can enjoy each others company in relative quiet (as opposed to going during peak times)

I also highly recommend Bluezoo at the Dolphin. We just ate there last night and I was blown away. It managed to nudge California Grill out of first place for me. It's beautifully decorated, the staff are very attentive, and there are usually very few kids there, or the ones that are there are well behaved.

It was wonderful!

I would really suggest Victoria and Albert's. It is one of only 46 restaurants in the entire US with an AAA Five Diamond rating. And they do not allow anyone under ten years old. Just be aware it does have an enforced dress code.

Hands down, it's California Grill for me. We went for my father's 60th birthday, and I also went for my 32nd birthday. All around a great meal, well served, and the view of the fireworks is special.

It's my favorite restaurant in Disney that I sadly never go to. I went to Artist Point for my 30th Bday. Wasn't blown away.

I can't comment on V & A.

I know you won't be disappointed with California Grill.
