Recommendations for a special meal?

We'll be in WDW 10/26 to 11/1 and DH and I want to
take my mom somewhere special (away from the kids)
for one night. It's got to be someplace memorable, kind of quiet, with excellent food and
service. We've thought about Victoria and Albert's, but we've been there once and may want to save that for another "just the two of us" trip. We're leaning towards the California Grill, but not quite settled on it yet. What would be your first choice of all the restaurants available? (We'd prefer it at one of the hotels, rather than World Showcase or something in the parks.) Thanks for your suggestions.

I think Artist Point would be great! I've never eaten there, but I have heard AMAZING things and it is on the top of my list for my next trip. It's in the Wilderness Lodge.

I'd also recommend Citricos and Narcoosee's, Jiko in Animal Kingdom Lodge and Kona Cafe at the Polynesian!

dh and I really love Palio at the Swan! Te food is Italian and it's excellent! The atmosphere is very nice - there are strolling musicians! The prices aren't too bad either - especially if you use your DC card - they give a 20% discount!

I would also reccomend Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge - amazing food and a lovely, quiet atmosphere. It is definately one our favorite restaurants in all of WDW, and the only one my husband begs to visit on each trip! He is still dreaming about that Cedar Plank Salmon! A big plus is that you can explore the amazing lobby and grounds of the Wilderness Lodge before or after dinner. If you haven't visited the WL before, it will definately take your breath away!
