My wife, daughter, and I are going to WDW in January. While we're there, my brother and his new bride will also be visiting the World, doing their own thing. We're meeting up with them and spending the day together at MK on our final day there, and I want to treat them to a nice dinner that night. But don't know much about the Disney restaurants. Wondering if I could get some recommendations from you more experienced folks?

A few details that may influence things:

- DSIL is from South Korea, and is not a fan of salty food and likes spicey stuff.
- DD will be 3 and a half years old, and is VERY picky about what she eats.
- DD, DW, and I will have eaten at Crystal Palace for breakfast, so we'd prefer not to eat there again that night.
- We're all on the DDQS plan, so I'd be paying out of pocket for this meal.
- I've ruled out the shows like Hoop De Doo and the like. I'm sure they're great, but I can't justify the cost, and I'd rather talk than watch a show, since DBro and DSIL live in SK and we don't see them often.
- We'd really like to stay at MK or very nearby for the meal.

Thoughts>?

Have you considered Cinderella's Royal Table? You can't get much more magical than that. It's inside the castle and while the princesses circle around, it's not a show and you will have plenty of time to visit and talk with each other. The ambiance in the castle is hard to beat. :thumbsup2

In that area I would suggest the Wave at the Contemporary- the food is very fresh and I think there was 1 item that had more heat on the menu (I don't do any heat at all).

I second The Wave although I have not eaten there but the menu looks good and the prices are reasonable. I have also read good reviews. Other places I would recommend would be Kona cafe if you want to stay in a moderate price range and The Grand Floridian Cafe too. If you want to splurge then I would suggest Narcoosees or Jikos.

I also think the Wave would be a good choice. There are two signature restaurants at the Grand Floridian (Citricos and Narcoossee's) which are very nice but it sounds like they are out of your price range.

Thanks for the suggestions so far! I'll run these past DW and DBro and see what they think.

I had been leaning toward Liberty Tree Tavern or CRT, and DW is really keen on Tony's because she loves pasta, but not so crazy about seafood.

I would also suggest The Wave. The food was beyond delicious, the service was top notch and it was such a relaxing break from the parks.
