Recommendation with a twist

For us it was in San Angel Inn in Mexico. The reviews didn't seem so good but the food is great ... and the atmosphere is awesome.

San Angel Inn for us too. It gets so many bad reviews, but DH really wanted to eat here. I almost cancelled the ADR a couple of times and I am so glad I didn't. Great meal, great service, fun atmosphere.

Me too! I wasn't very excited about San Angel Inn - we mostly went because my fiance realllllllly wanted to go. But I really really enjoyed it! Our margs (avocado for me, jalepeno for fiance) and entrees (pollo a las rajas for me, roast pork for fiance) were great!

Wow - thank you so much for the great ideas! (feel free to keep them coming - i have about a month until I can make ressies)

I think I will be adding San Angel and Garden Grill to the list of must do's this year!!

Kouzinna was a hit, and suprise! Went for the first time last year, and ended up cancelling Kona to return again! My steakhead DD12, tasted my "whole fish..." and said she wanted to return and have my dish:confused3...fish?

It is not that interesting in terms of decor, but the food is slammin'!

Captains Grill. It was our best meal last year and we can't wait to go back in September

I am glad to hear about Garden Grill ... this one is on our list this year so we can be sure to try a couple of different restaurants but I was not too excited about it ... well now I will look forward to it. Thanks

There are so many, but the one that really surprised us was Tusker House lunch. We had done the breakfast many times before and decided to try the lunch (we did the Nemo the Musical lunch package when they still had it) and we all LOVED it. I wasn't sure if my kids or DH would like anything at the buffet since they could be picky at times, surprisingly they all loved it as much as I did and we all decided that that would be our lunch for our AK days for now on. We are so excited that there are now characters to add to the experience :goodvibes.

Several-

Ohana-we are a family who has never had a bad experience there. Some have, but not us. It is a must do for us.

Turf Club-never ever expected it to be that good. To us, it's a not so well known gem.

Liberty Tree -favorite QS in the parks

WPE - favorite QS in DTD

Sanaa & Boma - the food and atmosphere are excellent.

We really love TE in Epcot and Sci-Fi for their Ruben sandwiches!! They also have a BLT soup which sounded weird, but was delicious!!!! Yummy!!

we are also looking for suggestions! We have ate at Sci-Fi, Tepon Edo, CRT (we were not impressed and our food was lukewarm) not worth the 2 TS points. Cape May Cafe for breakfast and we LOVED it!! We have done Poly Luau too!

We are trying to only do 1 TS credit meals and not use 2 TS credit for any of them.

So far the kids have each picked one restaurant and we have 7 TS credits!

-Askerhus for my DD(5) hoping for breakfast!
-Tepon Edo for my DS(11)
-Sci-Fi we all chose
Me and my DBF are wanting a more adult environment for our choice of a place. Le Cellier now that its 1 TS or Cape May Cafe for the dinner

What do you are think?

Also, is San Angel Inn a TS or QS?

We are kind of food snobs to be honest! We enjoy nice cuisine and are looking for something that will offer a nice sit down, but someone who has the opinion of other dining that is more quality who enjoys good food too!

What are some places you all love for snacks? I was thinking epcot for some interesting snacks?

We love Dole Whips!! YUMMO!!

San Angel is a table service restaurant in Epcot. If you book this arrive early so you can start with the boat ride.

Also Le Cellier is 2 TS for dinner and 1 TS for lunch.
