Recommendation please for type of cable TV cable to buy.

We need a cable to hook the TT to the campground cable TV connection. What is the best type to buy?

Any g-6 cable should do ya, a 25 footer should make it at most campgrounds

I would go to Wal-Mart and get a couple of lengths maybe a 10' and a 25' and a connector to hook them together to make it 35' total if needed. I use RG-6 cable but not the expensive stuff. I don't get the expensive stuff because I think the grass gutters at Disney and other campgrounds pride themselves on how many TV cables the can cut with a weed eater per day.

I carry a 100' length of RG6. I've never need that much but DS used it once because the cable connection on his site was broken so he ran the wire over to mine.

I carry what you might believe to be way too much wire, last December we were in the 700 loop and a girl came over from the 800 loop because her dish wouldn't work. We messed around with it a while and determined it was toast so we ran wire from my dish across the dog walk, the old RR bed and into her Direct TV box so she could watch her Dolphins game. It was fun to be able to see her and her friends reaction when I put my hand in front of the dish. They would jump out of their chairs and grab the wire like it was gonna fix it lol

I like the type of ends that slip on versus thread on. I find many campgrounds have stripped threads.

I do to, not only are some stripped, you'd think they could come up with an easier connection. Most sets make it almost impossible to turn that little nut...uuh can I say little nut?
