I am taking a friend for a weekend trip in August. I have an AP, and I think I have a day left on a park hopper that she can have, but we will have to buy a ticket for her for the other day.

1. Is there any option at all other than a 1 day 1 park ticket?

2. What is the least expensive way to buy a ticket for her for that one day?

3. Is there any way to find out if there is a day left on a parkhopper pass before we go?

I am sure all these questions have been addressed before, but I haven't been able to find the answers yet.

Thanks for your help.

A one or two (or three) day trip is an excellent time to use up an old pass as-is.

There are no less expensive "standard" tickets for one or two days. If you can keep saying "no" you can get free Disney tickets suitable for one to three day vacations by attending time share presentations.

You must be at Disney to find out how many days remain on an old pass. (If it was a park hopper plus pass you may be pleasantly surprised and find more days than you thourhgt, a day spent only at water parks did not count as a day off of the pass.

WOW. Thanks for all the great info, seashoreCM!

We are trying to do this as cheaply as possible, using my DVC membership, Disney Visa reward points, my AP, my Disney Dining Experience card, my leftover PHP for my friend, etc.

The big issues right now are airfare, transportation from airport to resort and back, and one day's ticket for friend.
