Recommendation for hotel near Downtown Disney

I have a friend who is visiting family in Vero Beach over spring break and wants to spend one night in Orlando and take her daughter to Cirque du Soleil. She wants to be able to take a shuttle to DTD for the show. I suggested she take a look at the hotels in the DTD area, but I don't have any personal experience with any of them, so I'm looking for recommendations. Also suggested she take a look at the Disney Value resorts, since she could take the bus to DTD. I'm not sure what her budget is, but I'm sure she would be happy to get something reasonably priced, as long as it isn't too inconvenient. She doesn't necessarily have to be within the closest proximity to DTD, but she needs concenient shuttle service if she isn't. When visiting WDW, I've only stayed on Disney property, but I have stayed at the Doubletree at Universal and a hotel on International Drive and taken the shuttle to Univeral and Sea World and they weren't very convenient. There were two shuttles in the morning and two in the evening and if they filled up quickly, you were on your own to get back to the hotel. Is that typical for off-property hotel shuttles to WDW as well?

I have stayed at the Hilton down town and its across the streeet to dtd.The hotel is nice and i have been able to get it off priceline.Hope this helps.
