The family will be at DW over our 10th anniversary and would like to get away that night - just the two of us. What Disney rest. would you recommend?

Please tell us a little more about your likes/dislikes and any budget constraints. Are you interested in a really upscale place (like V&A's) or a really casual place? Something in between?

Ooh.. well obviously it depends on your budget and what you like.. if money is no object Victoria and Albert's is an amazing experience. We always make a point of going to the California Grill at the Contemporary- this isn't too expensive but the food is gorgeous and the view is second to none. Jiko is also a firm favourite- it's great fun trying something a little different.

xx

JIKO!!! Definately.
If you you want a nice quiet dinner for two?!!! JIKO.
Read the reviews and comments.
It's a great place for nice atmosphere and great food.
If you like wine. It's amazing! Huge Selection.
We had the best wine we've ever tried there.
I suggest trying the Delheim Gewürztraminer.
It's a great semi sweet wine, with no aftertaste or no strong
alcohol taste. Fantastic!
(simular to a Reisling only better)

others will tell you Cal. Grill But that's become overrun with kids and families waiting for fireworks. Not that there's anything wrong with that but it's not a couple resturante anymore.

Now if your looking more for a "date night" I say go to the Boardwalk.
Take you pick of River Grill or Flying Fish or Spoodles.
Then grab some ice cream for dessert.
(maybe at Beaches and Cream across the bay at YBCR)
Rent at a bike, and bike around the boardwalk.
Then sit down have a drink and enjoy the music at JellyRolls.

It's a nice romantic evening for a couple.

We haven't eaten at any of the other places mentioned, but we had dinner at Narcoossee's last year and absolutely loved it. We definitely want to go back and I think it's the perfect place for an anniversary celebration - especially if you time it right to see the Electrical Water Pageant and Wishes. The view is spectacular!

I am a huge fan of Jiko and if you're on a budget then I would recommend Jiko. However, I'll admit I was kind of bummed in March 2008.

October 2007 - amazing, quiet and only one kid who was about 10.
March 2008 - amazing food, not so quiet, screaming baby who wouldn't leave even when family had three CM's - including manager, approach their table. Lots of people in very casual T-Shirts - think of BRIGHT orange T-shirt, homemade iron on saying with black shiny letters and a baseball cap.

For a WONDERFUL 10th anniversary dinner, where money is no object - Victoria & Albert's is the only way to go. Ambiance is wonderful and dress codes are strictly enforced. DH and I did this in April 2007 for our 10th and to help offset the cost we decided no gifts for each other and our meal/evening would be our gift. It was fantastic! Much better (for us at least) than any gift we could have gotten each other and it was almost cheaper considering we could have easily spent $200 per person on each other for a gift.

(V&A accepts the DDE Card - if you have AP's or live in FL I'd look into the DDE card if I were you. You can save 20%)

Thanks for all the information. Our default plan was getting a window table at Cali Grill and watching fireworks. However, I will look into some of the other suggested places like V&A, Jiko, Boardwalk and Narcoossee's. We have not tried any of those yet.

We will be at OKW in Jan., and the budget for dinner is open, I am more concerned with a great experience. I have had good and bad experiences at expensive steak houses and at casual diners - so it does not have to be overly formal, just a great experience. We like steak, seafood and pasta.

Again, you suggestions are great. Anything else you would throw in for a 10th anni. at Disney?
