I'd like to book a character breakfast (should be done *soon*...oops!) for our trip at the end of June/beginning of July. It'll be a big group...me, DH, DS (10 mo), my mom, dad, sister, FBIL, brother, cousin, his wife, their DD (9) and DS (7)...that's 9 adults, 2 kids and a baby.:grouphug: Any favorites for such a group? We'll be at DLH and willing to go anywhere. TIA!

minnie and friends nice to be in the park and having some food with a lot of characters. If your staying at DLH might want to do goofys.

as suggested goofys or minnies. both are buffets iirc so it would be alot easier with a big group

I like Goofy's Kitchen or Storyteller's Breakfast the most. At Goofy's kitchen they have lots of characters and good selection of food.

The Plaza Inn inside DL wasn't our favorite. The food is just okay. Nothing special and not enough hot items. We were seated at an ackward table even though the restaurant was basically empty. It was difficult to get pictures.

However, I'm not really impressed with any of the DL dining options as I think WDW does it much better. So, I do a lot of comparing when I go to DL and I'm always disappointed with the food options.

I've been to the Minnie breakfast, Goofy's Kitchen, and Lilo and Stitch. I know L&S got good reviews here, but I felt it was really lacking.

Goofy's has a GREAT selection of food, and for us, the character interaction was exceptional. We got to see Goofy, Pluto, Max, Snow White, and Cinderella.

At Lilo and Stitch, the characters spent very little time at our table, and Minnie and Daisy took shifts in the front and didn't come to the table. We saw Lilo, Stitch, and Pluto.

I enjoyed the Minnie breakfast and would do that again if not staying at a hotel. The one time I went, we saw Tigger, Eeyore, Pooh, Minnie, Fairy Godmother, and Captain Hook. They all came to the table at least twice, and spent a good amount of time with us. The food options are fairly limited, but if you like waffles, pancakes, and eggs, you should be ok.

Rainforest Cafe in DTD also has breakfast if you aren't interested in a character meal.

We've been to Goofy's Kitchen a couple of times. There were always lots of characters and a nice selection of food for both the adults and kids. We liked it.

We loved Goofy's Kitchen. The food was good, lots of choices, lots of character interaction and the rooms looked like they would be easy to manage large tables in.

Haven't tried the others yet...

We loved Storyteller's for breakfast. The food was great and so was the character interaction. It is a very nice restaurant and a pleasant dining experience. I also like the fact that you can choose to order off of the menu vs. the buffet. We also had a character breakfast at The Plaza Inn. We were seated in the blaring sun and the place just wasn't very clean IMHO. There were a ton of characters though. I'm not sure I would go back for the money. We had dinner at Goofy's Kitchen for my DS 3 birthday and that was awesome! Captain Hook was fantastic and even did a sword fight with a spatula.

Hope this helps

I would go to Minnie and Friends, my experiences at Goofy's were horrible, not so great food, not very much character interaction. Except for Chip we really felt ignored by all the characters, until we were leaving, then Goofy, Pluto and Baloo wanted to play with the kids. Minnie and Friends all the characters came over at least once and Chip and Dale kept coming back and playing with us and the kids. We had a ton of fun at M&F and would do it again in a heartbeat!

I can recommend Storytellers. Last time we were there it was a bit more relaxed than some of the others. You have a choice of buffet or ordering off the menu. (the Banana Stuffed French Toast is wonderful!) I think I have decided I prefer a full service sit down meal to a buffet so your meal is brought to you so you don't have to worry about whether you will miss the characters while you are up getting your plate.
