Recommend and Orlando Marriott

We will be traveling to Orlando for 5 days in May and want to use our points. Can you recommend a Marriott brand hotel that is relatively close to the major parks (does not need to be walking distance)? Thank you!

For overall ease, I would recommend the Marriott Village in Lake Buena Vista. It has a Courtyward, Fairfield Inn, and Spring Hill Suites. It is closest to Disney, but only a short hop up I-4 to Sea World and Universal. WE have stayed there many times, let me know if I can help more.

I have stayed at the Marriott village. We loved it. Great value. Close to WDW. Clean rooms and great service.

Marriotts in Orlando can cost a pretty penny in points; everything is cat. 4 and 5. Sometimes we save the points for better uses and just pay cash, so compare. We have 400,000+ points from dh's travel but I still get stingy with them! I would do a search to see what's available for you dates and go from there.

My choices in this order:

Residence Inn on Palm

Courtyard on Palm (simply because we always get a free suite upgrade here and the extra room is nice)
--or--
Fairfield Marriot Village

Courtyard Marriott Village (no free breakfast though)

Springhill Suites Marriott Village

Not sure what your price range is but I have stayed at the Marriott Orlando World, which is big, beautiful and very expensive. It's very heavily used for business, and conferences. But you literally take a right out of the driveway and drive about 5 mins right into the Disney gates.

I have also stayed at the Marriott Grande Vista. This is a great place if you have a family and kids. You can get some reasonable rates, and it's got every amenity you could want. This is also pretty close to Disney, maybe 10-15 minutes.
