Recommend a offsite hotel with Disney Parks View?

Looks like much of the hotels on property are booked up when we want to go. Last minute trip. I'd like to stay at an offsite hotel that would have a view of WDW. What hotels have a view of WDW and maybe the fireworks?

As I'm sure you know, WDW is huge. Seriously seriously huge. There are very very few non-Disney hotels that have any view of the parks at all.

Two that you might not have looked at: the Swan and Dolphin. Both are Starwood properties, but in the Epcot resort area.

There are a couple of places in the Downtown Disney resort area that might have a view:

You might be able to find a Wyndham owner who can rent you space at Wyndham Bonnet Creek.

Most anywhere else might see a glimpse of fireworks way off in the distance, but I wouldn't call it a 'view'.

Blue Heron Resort has observation balconies where you can watch the fireworks at Disney, they are about 1 mile away from Disney property.

Disney is huge, it's about 47 square miles. Alot of people don't realize that!

Wydham Bonnet Creek is a timeshare resort that has rooms with views from which epcot and the fireworks can be seen. As Brian said you can see if there are any wyndham owners who are able to rent to you on sites like ebay or redweek.com or you can also check extraholiday.com to see if any rooms are available at Bonnet Creek.They have really good rates especiallly if it is last minute.

If you can get a room on a high floor at the Best Western in the DTD resort area, some of those have Disney park views.

We had a semi-high level room when we stayed there way back in 2001 and we had an Epcot view.
