I'm trying to get a hold of a recipe from la hacienda for their corn soup with spicy tortillas. It is our favorite I have checked some sites and it isn't listed anyone have it.

If you Google "crema de elote", the name of this soup, you'll find all kinds of recipes. You'll probably have to read thru a few to find one that approximates La Hacienda's..

For what it's worth, I would recommend looking at the recipe posted on the recipe thread (links in the previous post) and the look up recipes on online on cooking sites you like (as suggested by minniemum). I've found that the non-cookbook Disney recipes sometimes come out differently than how they taste at WDW; I think it's because the recipe has to be scaled down to home-kitchen size. I use the Disney recipe as a starting point and then go from there...

True. Plus, the recipe index has gotten so big, it can be hard to find what you're looking for. The recipe the OP wanted can be found here (just scroll down) : http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1575103&page=83

FWIW, there are a couple of practically identical recipes if you do a Google search.

Have you checked on Copykat.com? I've found a number of recipes there in the past.

I wanted a recipe from the Food and Wine Festival one year. I just emailed Disney for the recipe. It took a couple of months (I think. It seemed like a long time to me.) but they did email it to me.

Problem with that strategy is that La Hacienda is not owned or operated by Disney, they'd have to contact the owner.

Then the next problem is whether the recipe is owned by the restaurant or the chef. There is a difference. Chef's are often reluctant to share their personal recipes since they use those personal recipes as part of their resume to sell themselves to prospective employers. That's true for both Disney and non-Disney operated restaurants. Just pointing out the there are reasons why getting a recipe from WDW may not be automatic.
