Hello all- I am going to host an email recipe swap- what is this you might ask?

Everyone can either email me ONE decorated and embellished recipe- or actually mail me one copy of a decorated and embellished recipe. You might even have one laying around that you could scan and email-- or mail them to me and I will scan them! Or you might use a computer program to make your pages and can just email that! Then I will email everyone a competed package with all the emails. You can then print them out yourself and have a nice recipe booklet. Here is an example of one of my pages:

Neat idea! I thought I was all ready to participate as my recipes are all on the computer & formatted to recipe card size (ready to print) with clip art. However, seeing your sample tell sme that I had a different idea than you did.

What size should the pages be? Yours looks much larger than 3x5 or 4x6 so I'm guessing 8.5x11? You didn't just create that on the computer, did you? Did you print out the text and leaves and then just add the eyelets and brads?

I think I'd like to do this as soon as I figure out the details as well as which recipe to send.

This is actually 8.5 x 11 that I just used Microsoft Word to Print and added the brads and stuff- then I scan on my scanner! But for this swap if people prefer a different size go ahead- anything is good! BTW- i scan all my pages so every holiday I give family a printed copy of my years pages and maybe stick a sticker or two on for some texture! People have no idea that they are just copies!!!

I hope no one minds but I didn't submit my own recipe. I thought it would be fun to do one of Disney's recipes, so I created a page with the Chocolate Souffle from Palo on the Disney Cruise. If this is a problem I'd be happy to submit a recipe of my own. Kittychatalot will you let me know if you received the recipe I sent you? Thanks!

I was struggling to think of a recipe I could submit so I picked up my recipe file from the kitchen and found soooo many I then found it hard to choose! I could probably make a book by myself!
